Planning questions · Sample menus · How it works
A wedding meal belongs to a longer day. The ceremony, drinks, photographs, speeches and dinner all make demands on the schedule. Share the outline you have, even if it is still changing.
The catering company came first. Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo founded Carmelized Productions in 2004. Animal followed in 2008, Son of a Gun in 2011 and Jon & Vinny’s in 2015. Wedding is one of the confirmed sample menu collections, alongside the restaurant collections.

Wedding catering questions
Can we use a Jon & Vinny’s menu for our wedding?
Yes. Jon & Vinny’s is one of the sample menu collections available to discuss, alongside the Wedding menu. Start with the dishes you like, then confirm the menu, quantities and service plan with the catering team.
How should catering fit around the ceremony and speeches?
Share the ceremony time, cocktail hour, dinner, speeches and any late-night plans. Include the venue’s setup and departure windows so the team can discuss service around the parts of the day that have fixed timings.
What affects the cost of wedding catering?
The guest count, menu, service format, event length, beverages, staffing and rentals all belong in the budget discussion. Share an overall budget range and ask for a proposal that clearly separates what is included from additional costs.
