Planning questions · Sample menus · How it works

A shower often has several parts: arrivals, a meal, gifts or a shared activity, and time to talk. Tell the team whether food should be served at one point or available through the gathering.

A private home and a hired room can call for different arrangements. Include the venue, the number of guests and what you know about seating and preparation space. If the location is not booked yet, say so in the inquiry.

What to include in the inquiry

  • Baby or bridal shower and host contact
  • Date, location and guest count
  • Proposed serving time and event schedule
  • Dietary needs and beverage preferences
  • Menu interests, rental needs and budget

The food and service

Discuss buffet, stations, passed food or a plated meal according to the gathering. Brunch dishes, alcohol-free drinks and dessert choices should be requested and confirmed rather than assumed from a sample menu title.

Menus to discuss

Sample menus are a starting point. Confirm dishes and availability with the catering team.

Planning the next step

Include your estimated guest count and budget band. The Company field is optional. If the location is still undecided, enter “Not booked yet.” Read how the inquiry works and the common questions.

Showers — planning questions

What should we include when planning a baby or bridal shower?

Share the date, venue, guest count and the outline of the gathering, including gifts or activities. Tell the team whether you want a meal at a set time or food available through the event.

Can the shower take place at home?

Private gatherings are part of Carmelized Productions’ work. Include the home’s preparation space, access and seating arrangements so the team can discuss the service and any rentals needed.

How should we share guests’ dietary requirements?

List the requirements and approximate number of guests affected when you inquire. Discuss allergies, preparation and cross-contact concerns directly before choosing dishes; ingredient names alone are not enough to confirm suitability.
