Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Carmelized Productions, part of Joint Venture Restaurant Group ("Carmelized," "we," "us"), collects, uses and shares information through carmelizedproductions.com (the "Site"). It also explains the rights California residents have over their personal information.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you submit an event inquiry, we collect what you enter, which can include your name, email address, phone number, company, role, event date and time, event type, guest count, location or venue, service and menu preferences, dietary requirements, bar and staffing needs, budget range, how you heard about us, and any notes or links you share.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers collect information such as your browser and device type, IP address, approximate location derived from your IP address, pages you view, the page you came from, and the date and time of your visit. We also record campaign and click identifiers that appear in links you followed to reach us (for example UTM tags, Google click IDs and Meta click IDs) and attach them to your inquiry so we know which channels bring us inquiries.
Cookies and similar technologies. We use cookies, pixels and similar technologies, including Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, to understand how the Site is used and to measure our marketing. We may also use advertising technologies such as the Meta Pixel to measure and improve our advertising.

How we share information
We share information with service providers that help us operate the Site and our business, including website hosting and form processing (Webflow), analytics (Google), and email and communication tools. We may share inquiry details within Joint Venture Restaurant Group, which includes Jon & Vinny's, Animal, Son of a Gun, Helen's Wines and Cookbook, when needed to respond to your request. We may also disclose information to comply with law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a merger, sale or reorganization of our business.
We do not sell personal information for money. Some of our analytics and advertising technologies may be considered "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. You can opt out as described below.
Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

- Request a copy of your personal information
- Request that we delete your personal information, subject to legal exceptions
- Request that we correct inaccurate personal information

To make a request, email info@carmelizedproductions.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." We will verify your request using the information you provide and respond within the time required by law. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.
You can also limit cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
How long we keep information
We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to respond to you, plan and deliver events, keep business records and meet legal obligations. Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings of our analytics providers.
Children
The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we collect. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Other websites
The Site links to other websites, including Instagram and the websites of our restaurants. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last changed.
