Common questions
Before you inquire.
The confirmed essentials, with the remaining operational details marked for review.
Where do you cater?
Carmelized Productions is based in Inglewood and produces events throughout Southern and Northern California, as well as out of state nationwide. Share your venue or property address when you inquire so the team can discuss travel, access and service requirements.
How many guests can you cater for?
The company’s capabilities span intimate gatherings to events with up to 10,000 guests. Share both your total guest count and the number expected at one time; availability and requirements depend on the event.
What service formats are available?
Tray-passed, plated, buffet and stations are available to discuss. Describe whether guests will be seated, standing or arriving over time so the team can help shape the service around the occasion.
Can you help with staffing, beverages and rentals?
Yes. Carmelized Productions can assist with staffing, beverage service and rental coordination, as well as large-scale productions requiring comprehensive food and beverage management. Share the scope of your event, including service areas, guest count, schedule and venue requirements. The team can define responsibilities, equipment and staffing in your proposal.
Can I request a restaurant menu?
Yes. Sample collections include Animal, Son of a Gun and Jon & Vinny’s, alongside Wedding, Gala and Corporate Dinner. Use the samples as a starting point and confirm current dishes and availability with the team.
What is the minimum spend?
Ask the team to confirm the minimum and pricing for your event. Share your date, venue, guest count, menu preferences and overall budget. The budget bands in the inquiry form describe your plans; they are not quoted prices or booking minimums.
How far ahead should I book?
Send your preferred date as soon as you begin planning and include alternatives if you are flexible. Ask the team to confirm availability and the booking schedule. An inquiry does not reserve a date.
What are the payment terms?
Confirm the deposit, payment schedule, final guest-count deadline and cancellation terms in your proposal before booking. If a planner or company handles payment, include the appropriate contact in your inquiry.
Can you accommodate dietary needs?
Include dietary requirements and allergies in your inquiry, with the number of guests affected. Confirm preparation, certification and cross-contact requirements directly with the team before selecting dishes.
Do I need a company name to inquire?
No. Company or organization is optional. Individuals, planners, agencies and venues can inquire. Start with your date, location, guest count and the occasion; share what you know even if some details are still undecided.
