Born in Hollywood and raised in East Los Angeles, Chef Jose Vasquez discovered his passion for food at just nine years old, a spark that set him on a lifelong culinary journey. After formal training at Kapiʻolani Community College in Hawaii and further studies in Pasadena, he honed his skills in kitchens across Southern California, building a reputation for bold flavors, technical precision, and thoughtful presentation.
Today, Chef Jose serves as Chef de Cuisine at Carmelized Productions, where he leads the team in creating elevated, flavor-forward dishes for weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations. Known for his creativity and meticulous approach, he brings every event to life with food that is both memorable and deeply personal, ensuring each experience is seamless, inspired, and unforgettable.
